Additionally, we will inform you whenever there is a booking in your language combination(s) in your local area. But, you don’t have to worry if for example, you are unable to accept a particular booking. You are in charge of how much you work and where you work. And, we pay monthly as well as on-time. Considering how linguistically diverse the United Kingdom has become, interpreting is unravelling as a lucrative yet flexible career. Essentially, we can help you with your endeavour to finding work where you are your own boss. Finally, it doesn’t matter which languages you speak as we consider ALL prospective interpreters.
    How do I apply to become an interpreter?

    I have a busy schedule, can I still become an interpreter?
    We will inform you whenever there is a booking in your language combination(s) in your local area. But, you don’t have to worry if for example, you are unable to accept a particular booking as you have full control as to whether you accept or decline a session. In addition, if you would like to take a break from work, then you can simply inform us and we will resend you bookings whenever you are ready. Essentially, you are in charge of how much you work and where you work.
    Can I become a face-to-face interpreter and a remote interpreter?
    Yes, if you are confident and competent at providing additional services, then we can accommodate to this.
    I don't have an interpreting qualification, can I still become an interpreter?
    We view all applications holistically. Although possession of an interpreting qualification is beneficial, if you have sufficient professional experiences or have references that can vouch for you interpreting ability, then we also take this into account.

    I speak multiple languages, can I interpret in all of them?
    As long as you are able to provide some form of evidence (qualifications, references, education history etc.) for your language competence, then yes, you will be able to interpret in multiple languages.
    I haven't done interpreting in a while, can I still apply?
    Of course you can still apply. We review all applications holistically, so if we can see that you have previously done interpreting or have obtained a qualification, then we will be happy to consider your application. We provide a free, intensive training course and induction for our successful applicants in order to get them up to speed with interpreting.
    I can't access the online portal, what should I do?

    Can I become both an interpreter and a translator?
    Of course – as long as you are able to provide evidence (qualifications, references etc.) of both your interpreting and translation abilities, then we will be happy to consider you for both positions.
