Rewarding Apprenticeships at Absolute Interpreting and Translations Ltd.
Absolute Interpreting and Translations Ltd. have been offering challenging yet rewarding apprenticeships for many years. Since the hiring of our first apprentice, we have been developing our apprenticeship scheme to ensure that our prospective apprentices greatly profit their course and that they can leave with a sense of pride and achievement.
We currently employ two apprentices at Absolute, Danny the Finance apprentice and Shannon the Digital Marketing apprentice. Both have integrated into the team extremely well and enjoy working at Absolute Interpreting and Translations Ltd.
We have recently interviewed Danny to discuss his opinion on apprenticeships and whether they are worth pursuing.

The Interview
We asked Danny, “Why did you choose to start an apprenticeship?”
Danny replied, “I chose to do an apprenticeship because it seemed like the best path to what I wanted to achieve. I did receive offers from universities, however I decided that, ultimately, an apprenticeship was quicker and had the added bonus of being able to earn money whilst I am learning.”
A popular belief is that an apprenticeship isn’t as rewarding as completing a course at college or going to university. However, we, at Absolute, believe that apprenticeships thoroughly rewarding in their own ways. We then went on to ask, “What’s the most rewarding aspect of your current apprenticeship?” Danny goes on the explain what he considers as the most rewarding aspect; “I think the most rewarding aspect of my apprenticeship is that I can gain experience in the industry whilst I learn. This is very valuable for any future prospects and I am grateful I have the opportunity.”
Many of you who are reading this post are probably interested in taking up an apprenticeship and are seeking some valuable advice. Finally we asked Danny, “Would you recommend starting an apprenticeship to others and why?” He responded, “I would absolutely recommend an apprenticeship for others. I will admit it is not for some, as it can be very challenging managing your time due to having to work and study, however I think the benefits of an apprenticeship far outweigh the negatives. I would recommend to anybody to do their own research and weigh the positives and negatives that are personal to them.”
