Afghan Interpreters and Translators Facing Death Threats While Serving The British Troops
As a Translation Company in London UK after watching the BBC news on 12/02/13 I decided to write this post on +BBC World Have Your Say and www.bbcglobalminds.com and became a member to ensure interpreters and translators in Afghanistan are given their human rights.
Voting: Do you think the UK should offer asylum options for Afghan interpreters in Afghanistan? If Yes, then please explain why and if you do not agree, then please explain your reasons:

As an ex-interpreter and translator having worked with +United Nations in Afghanistan at a time when the Taliban were in power and now running an Interpreting and Translation Company in London and Birmingham +Absolute Interpreting and Translations Ltd, I was quite surprised that the British Government is turning its back on the very people (interpreters and translators) who have been serving the troops in Afghanistan and have always been with them shoulder to shoulder in their fights against the Taliban. Undoubtedly these interpreters are facing serious and obvious threats posed by the Taliban.
I believe it will be an important life saving panorama for the BBC to make a documentary about Afghan interpreters and translators serving the British troops in Afghanistan. Here is what the BBC has reported about this news: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-21406826
As we all know almost all other +NATO member countries have offered asylum and migration options not only for those who have provided interpreting and translation service but for anyone who had directly or indirectly provided them services and in some cases products or goods.
As the MD of Absolute Interpreting and Translations Ltd to protect these important people (interpreters and translators) I will be more than happy to provide any assistance or cooperation that maybe needed in the process if BBC was willing to make making a documentary showing the lives of interpreters and translators serving the British Troops and the dangers they are exposed to if they remain in the Country after 2014. Absolute Interpreting and Translations Ltd are prepared to send its staff members from the UK to Afghanistan to assist with the BBC crew if required.
